The year that Marc Jarzebowski graduated from Berlin’s Free University with a PhD in history also saw the birth of his first child. This joyful occasion with its intertwining of awareness of root and branch, past and future, growth and development shone a stark light on the growing demands of stability and adaptability. His response was to found Taxodium in 2004.
His clients are from Germany and across Europe, from the United States, Canada, Latin America, South Africa and Australia. Taxodium is located in Berlin, well situated with its extensive libraries and other archival resources. Jarzebowski has built up a steady network of reliable collegial partners to provide world-wide support if needs arise. He is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG), the German Studies Association (GSA) and the Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania.
In May 2016 Jennifer Bernard started working for Taxodium.
